Commission responds to Department of Health's Mental Health Strategy 2021-31

Following extensive consultation with victims and survivors, and funded community organisations, the Commission has responded to the government’s Mental Health Strategy Consultation 2021-31.

Our findings highlight that there is a clear need for additional services, support and recognition for victims and survivors and their families due to the continuing impact the legacy of the past has had throughout our society.

The impact of Troubles-related trauma cannot be underestimated, and it is imperative that we collectively address the needs of victims and survivors together to build a better future for all.
