Commissioner for Victims and Survivors Joe McVey recently met with Head of the Northern Ireland Civil Service Jayne Brady to discuss the issues that matter most to victims and survivors, such as the progress on the Victims and Survivors Strategy and the impact of the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill. They also discussed the growing concerns on funding shortfalls for vital victims and survivors’ services, a potential Bereavement Payment Scheme, and memorialisation.
