The Commission for Victims and Survivors is currently undertaking preparatory work to progress research activity under the VSS-PULSE programme.
VSS-PULSE (Partnership for Understanding, Learning, Support and Education) is a £21.7m project supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
As part of this work, the Commission, alongside community partners, is in the process of co-designing a programme of research that will contribute to a better understanding of the long-term and ongoing impacts of the conflict on victims and survivors.
This includes reviewing existing evidence, identifying potential research themes and considering where further knowledge could help inform policy, services and future initiatives relating to victims and survivors.
This early stage of work will help ensure that future research is grounded in evidence and contributes to wider learning about the experiences and needs of victims and survivors.
