The Commissioner for Victims and Survivors met with Paul Kohler, Liberal Democrat MP & member of the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee , along with Baroness Suttie as part of ongoing engagement on matters affecting victims and survivors. The meeting provided an opportunity to share perspectives on the importance of ensuring that Troubles related legislation remains victims centred, recognises the breadth of lived experiences and needs, and considers how these issues relate to Northern Ireland’s future and ongoing journey towards greater understanding, acknowledgement and a more reconciled future.
