Anonymous Storytelling

We worked with a journalist who had experience of reporting and storytelling projects from conflict regions in different parts of the world to develop a series of anonymous stories of people from different perspectives in Northern Ireland.

The storytellers spanned different generations, some directly impacted by the Troubles in Northern Ireland, others reflected more on the social legacies of conflict and how these shape the lives of our entire population.

Through the project’s anonymity, we were able to draw upon views and opinions that they may not have otherwise shared, so we could fully understand their different interpretations of post-conflict legacy.

Their stories will soon be available to download here.
