The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS) administers Executive Office funding that is set aside specifically for victims and survivors.
This funding enables the VSS to carry out two key tasks:
The Commission reviews and supports the VSS in providing the best possible services to individuals and communities; VSS quarterly reviews can be accessed here.
To read more about the VSS visit their website: www.victimsservice.org
If you need to contact the Victims and Survivors Service directly you can call them on 028 90 279 100, or by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org or:
Victims & Survivors Service
1st Floor, Seatem House
28-32 Alfred Street
Belfast BT2 8EN
(Office Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm)
The Commission recognises that being under threat can cause significant distress and anxiety.
If you are under threat, the most important thing for you to do is contact the PSNI. If you come to Commission and tell us that you are under threat, we will take the following actions:
NIACRO, Amelia House, 4 Amelia Street, Belfast, BT2 7GS
028 9032 0157
This may include services delivered by the VSS funded organisations under the Victims Support Programme (for more information, click here), or directly via the Individual Needs Programme (for more information, click here).
Please note, however, that the normal eligibility criteria will apply to access these services and support available under these Programmes.
This approach has been agreed with our partners at the Victims and Survivors Service and The Executive Office.
